Hi there! I’m Sally. I’m 20 years old, born in Baghdad, Iraq, and moved to the United States when I was 7 years old. I’m currently a junior majoring in Biomedical Sciences with aspirations of becoming an Anesthesiologist! Outside the kitchen and lecture halls, I love playing soccer whenever I get the chance. ⚽✨

My baking journey started during winter break of my sophomore year in high school. I decided to challenge myself by creating my own business—Sally’s Sweets. Instead of starting small, I jumped straight into one of the most notoriously technical desserts in the pastry world: French Macarons.

In just 3 intense weeks, I perfected the macaron process from start to finish, developing my own signature recipes along the way. Every single recipe on this site has been meticulously tested, refined, and crafted with love. Thank you for being here—and remember, this is only the start! 🤎
